First win for

Last week our 70’s team notched their first win since we developed a side. Defeating Leicestershire by three wickets. This historic win was achieved with some very tight bowling which saw Leicestershire restricted to 92 for 9 from their 40 overs.

Wickets were shared around – two each for Phil Tingay, Trevor Foster and Mick Womble as well as one for Jashu Patel. A couple of run outs also helped our cause.

Run from Mick Womble (37), Robert Dumelow (23) and Phil Tingay (19 not out) saw the 70s over the line.
